I met Martha through the support group at the Alzheimer’s Association. Her kindness and the wisdom she shared made me feel welcomed, as I was coping with my mother’s diagnosis and being stranded in a strange city. Martha was a treasure. I kept running into her in unexpected places – Sam’s club, Saraga’s – and it was always a pleasure to see her. She will be missed.
